I am a long-time freelance level designer specializing in multiplayer maps for popular games such as Counter-Strike Global Offensive, Counter-Strike Source, Counter-Strike 1.6, and the Unreal Tournament Engine. Throughout my education at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), my studies revolved around graphic design, but my spare time was spent learning the software and skills necessary to design levels. I learned the understanding of how projects are laid out, how to work with team members to complete goals on time, how to use concept art to pre-plan, set personal objectives, and how to visualize and conceptualize priorities to complete my designs. I learned quickly that completing my designs was the greatest way to learn and grow. My passion for video games and the industry that revolves around them has existed longer than I can remember. My ambition and desire are what fuel me everyday to create and design levels for everyone to enjoy. There is nothing more satisifying than completing a level and seeing it produced and played all over the world in leagues and tournaments. It is that feeling of satisifcation that continues to drive me towards my future goals in the video game industry.
Please take a moment to look around and enjoy the work that I have created over the years. I am always learning new software, new tools, new concepts, and new ways to revolutionize my craft on a daily basis. The drive to learn from others is something I value very highly; being able to listen to others helps you grow as a designer. The core values of level design, increasing my expertise, and learning from others are the core values I put into practice everyday when designing levels and creating art. Enjoy.
